WAR HORSE VALLEY COUNTRY FARM PARK

War Horse Valley Country Farm Park is open to visitors from Easter to the end of September every weekend & during school/ bank holiday periods between 2pm to 6pm. Entry is £6 per adult and £4 per child. The Farm provides an educational and fun insight into life on a working organic dairy farm, and the setting provided the inspiration for Michael Murporgo’s novel “War Horse”. In addition to being home to a herd of Friesian Cows, the Farm also houses a family of Alpacas, pygmy goats, chickens,ducks, geese, turkeys, miniature ponies, our horse Joey, guinea pigs, rabbits and pigs. Admission to the farm also includes a tractor and trailer ride across the fields to watch the Farm dogs herd the cows to the milking parlour, which has a viewing Gallery where you can observe the milking process. There is also the opportunity to feed young calves in the adjoining barn. The Farm has a World War I and II museum, a Farm walk, and a Tea Room where you can indulge in a Devonshire Cream Tea.

WOODLANDS THEME PARK
